It’s boiling hot today...

...as it was yesterday. Fantastic actually, I’m really enjoying it. Today the air conditioner is on and the house is lovely and cool so going outside to the supermarket or the backyard to hang clothes out is not so bad because once back inside you don’t feel the heat.

Today I got sick of listening to Jordan complain there’s nothing nice to eat in the house and I was pretty sick of an empty fridge and nothing but vegemite sandwiches as well so we went out grocery shopping. I just thought ‘bugger it’ who cares if the rents a week late, I’ll pay the extra next fortnight, they cant kick me out. So we went out and it was so nice to buy everything we needed. I got bathroom products and kitchen things, yogurt, meat, frozen food and heaps of veggies and fruit. I haven’t done a shop like that since I stopped working. I really miss having the available cash to do things like that.

I was actually complaining to mum yesterday about not being able to work because the money is so nice and she suggested that an office job wouldn’t be too hard for me and I’d be fine. It’s a good idea as there are heaps of summer jobs going for uni students doing similar work to what I want to do when I graduate so I’m going to have a look at those.

A summer job wouldn’t be too bad as it’ll be my last chance at the adult world before we’re consumed by nappies and night feeds.

Gemma’s coming over this afternoon for a girls night in (I’m up to date with assignments so there will be no guilt involved) so tonight it’ll be nice to be more girly and less like a worn out student and mother.

I've just spent half an hour trying to put photos up with this post but give up...I'll do it later tonight, when the internet agrees with me more.

Photoless

I have no pictures to post because even though we did heaps over the week I didn’t take my camera out once during the day. What a shame, I really regret that now, and I’ll not make the same mistake again.

Now I’ll just take heaps of photos this week to make up for it.

Miss you already.
