Busy day ahead of me today. I have a bit of shopping to do, a bit of resting and a bit of crafting. It sure is tough being a heavily pregnant woman!!

I have been busy this week though. I’ve put up profiles on various websites.

You may notice something about them (apart from the fact they all contain the same images) they are all free listings. That’s right, I’m just testing the waters to see if any fish bite. You can put money down for online portfolios but they range from $100 to $700 a year. So that sort of thing will come later…much later. We’ll see how everything else goes first.

And as a matter of fact I’ve already had one interested email. Whether anything happens is of course up in the air.

My hand is sore from click, click, clicking on the mouse.

Another pic for you. I noticed the line work is a little poor on the images, if you click on the pics you get a better resolution...they just look heaps nicer. I was just looking at my photos on Flicker and there are a couple on there I haven't put on the blog. Just click on the Flicker image to your right have have a look if you like. I think most are photos Jordan has taken but they're super cute so have a look.

Finally a post for you to read.

So this is what I’ve been doing for the past two days. Just drawing and drawing. Bubs likes to think they are all her. Every time she sees one she asks if its her, and of course I say yes.

I’ve gotten inspired lately after stopping work experience at the magazine. I dont think I've told you before but I’ve always wanted to do illustration but always had that fear I wasn’t good enough. But they liked what I did at the mag and I figured they may not be the only ones. So this year, apart from going to Uni and having a new born I’ve decided to try to work on my portfolio and get my work out there to other magazines. Yeah, trying not to take on too much…

So part of my plan, as well as finish my portfolio is get a website up and start sending out postcards to potential clients. Who knows what will happen but it would be great to be in magazines. There’s a lot of work to be done but thankfully bubs starts school soon and I can work more then.

Here's Christmas day. Jordan had a ride on her bike and then we hung out at mum and dads for the rest of the day.

How did Santa know she wanted a bike? Amazing!

The doll and blanket I made for Jesse. She loves them thank goodness.

I may be early and hot already but I'm pretty happy. I've got Pete Murray playing and the airconditioner on. Things are good.

Merry Christmas

Today I miss you more than any other time. I didn’t realize how much I would and was overwhelmed by it all. There was somebody missing from the present opening and I’d do anything to have you here.

Today is the not the day for wallowing in self pity though and I’m determined to have a good time for the both of us.

So here are the first lot of photos. Mum and dad are coming over soon to see all the presents, then its off to open more. Phew, this is hard work.
